Arch is a vital player in the design and construction industry. For the past 22 years, we have been responsible for the planning, design and construction of schools, colleges, libraries and museums – all providers of critical services to the youth and community members of our region.
Recognized for our technical competence, leadership skills, creative problem-solving and high integrity, our creative and technical team members share a single commitment to the success of projects. Registered professionals comprise nearly 50 percent of our technical staff, among the highest in our profession; we also have four construction management specialists on staff.
As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, our firm understands the process of designing and constructing LEED-certified facilities. We have eight LEED-accredited professionals on staff, one of whom is a Certified Energy Manager. Each of our LEED AP’s has undergone extensive training on the LEED rating system and is fully experienced with obtaining LEED certification for building projects.
CSArch has completed projects for the Albany Public Library system, including three branches designed for LEED Silver Certification. Each branch features day-lighting and commissioning, improved energy optimization, better indoor air quality, and modern library technology integrated within inviting user-friendly spaces. The Pine Hills Branch achieved LEED Silver Certification in 2012, and the Delaware Avenue Branch achieved LEED Gold Certification in 2013.
As architects, engineers and construction managers, we play a pivotal role in the future of buildings and in the lives of the people who will use them. Collaboration is key to our approach, and it results in places where children, adults and communities can learn, grow and thrive.
